CNB Employees Volunteer for Tom Siple Foundation
Indiana, PA - November 6, 2015
Nadine Rodgers and Kate Fleming of the CNB Indiana office recently volunteered their time at the Tom Siple Foundation event held at the Glen Campbell American Legion Post 435. They washed dishes, served food and performed many other duties including the two day set up and clean up.
CNB Employees Participate in Walk for Suicide Prevention and Awareness

CNB Bank Supports Improvements to Clearfield Soccer Complex
Clearfield, PA - October 8, 2015
CNB Bank presented a contribution to the Clearfield Soccer Association in the amount of $40,000. Presenting the check is Joe Bower, CNB Bank President and CEO, and receiving the contribution on behalf of the Clearfield Soccer Association is C. Alan Walker, Andy Spencer and Lisa Soult.
CNB Bank pledged $10,000 per year for four years to support improvements to the Clearfield Soccer Complex. Improvements include electricity, upgrade of septic systems, improvements to the access road and parking areas, as well as additional storage for lawn care equipment, designated handicap parking and a pavilion expansion.
“We have been a big supporter of the Clearfield Soccer Association and the opportunities it has provided the youth in our community,” states Bower. “As a community, we are fortunate to offer these quality programs and facilities to the youth soccer players, and CNB is honored to support the future improvements.”
The Clearfield Soccer Association received grants totaling $160,000 to help fund the improvements that require dollar for dollar matching funds. The purpose of the capital campaign is to raise the $160,000 needed to move these projects forward.
CNB Employees Participate in Walk to End Alzheimer's
Altoona, PA - October 6, 2015
CNB Bank Employees, family and friends recently participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Altoona. Teresa Thomas, Universal Associate at the CNB Northern Cambria office, was the individual who raised the most funds for the event and her team, Edith's Angels, raised the second highest team total.
CNB Employees Hold Car Show, Raise Funds for West Branch Boy Scouts

On August 9, Kylertown and Karthaus offices held their 3rd Annual Car and Bike Show. They had a total of 49 cars, bikes, and tractors enter with prizes being given to the First, second and Third place winners of each Class. All proceeds from the car show were donated to the West Branch Boy Scouts. Pictured with the boy scouts are Rebecca Shaw, Larry Allen (Boy Scout Leader) and Becka Shawley. CNB Delivers Concert Proceeds to Volunteer Fire Departments
Clearfield, PA - July 23, 2015
On June 13, 2015 CNB Bank hosted a community concert featuring country artist Frankie Ballard in celebration of CNB’s 150th anniversary. All ticket proceeds from the concert were to benefit the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Departments including Clearfield Borough Volunteer Fire Department, Glen Richey Volunteer Fire Department, Hyde Volunteer Fire Department, and Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Department.
“The concert brought our community together for a very entertaining night, and at the same time, provided a means to give back to the community that has been with us for over 150 years,” stated Joe Bower, President and CEO of CNB Bank. “Every person that purchased a ticket that night gave directly to the local fire departments. We wanted to show our appreciation to these volunteers for protecting all of us.”
Mr. Bower recently presented the $8,810 proceeds to the fire departments. Present to accept the contribution was Martin Neeper, Hyde Volunteer Fire Department Chief.
Clearfield Educational Foundation Receives $25,000 Contribution from CNB Bank

Over 25 years ago, the Clearfield Educational Foundation and the Clearfield Area Business Community invested in a concept that is today the Clearfield Campus of Lock Haven University. What started as an educational center, housed in a former elementary school, has grown to a branch campus consisting of two academic buildings and a student apartment facility.
To help continue the growth of the campus and foster the education of students pursuing a business degree, CNB Bank recently announced the creation of a scholarship open to students attending LHU Clearfield.
The Clearfield Educational Foundation received a $25,000 contribution commitment and those funds will create the CNB Bank scholarship. The funds will be delivered to the Clearfield Educational Foundation in two installments of $12,500 over two years.
“LHU Clearfield Campus has successfully attracted Clearfield area residents as well as students from other regions due to their high quality, low cost, educational offerings,” Joseph B. Bower, Jr., President and CEO of CNB said. “The education that these students receive benefit our entire region by preparing them for the workforce and we’re thrilled to be able to help students attain this higher level of education through the CNB scholarship.”

CNB Honors Pledge, Donates to American Red Cross

CNB Bank recently asked their Wealth & Asset Management clients to participate in a customer satisfaction survey. For every completed survey, the Bank pledged a $5 donation to the American Red Cross. Out of 944 surveys mailed, 191 were completed – a 20% response, resulting in a $955 donation.
“CNB continually strives to improve customer experience and it is imperative that we receive feedback from our clients,” Steve went on to say, “The donation to a worthy cause such as the American Red Cross is a nice incentive for our clients time and it’s a win-win for everyone involved.”

The American Red Cross PA Mountains Chapter helps provide for the urgent needs of disaster victims in Clearfield, Jefferson, Cambria, Somerset, Blair, Bedford and Huntington counties. They focus on providing safe shelter, feeding victims and emergency workers, providing mental health and emotional support services, providing basic first aid and health services, and distributing clean-up supplies and comfort items.

CNB Bank Presents Star Foundation Contribution to ECCSS
St. Marys, PA - March 3, 2015
Representatives of CNB Bank recently presented a contribution to the Elk County Catholic School System (ECCSS) through the Star Foundation. The Star Foundation is a non-profit entity created by the Diocese of Erie to receive funds under the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). This program allows businesses to make contributions for educational purposes to a designated school of their choice. These contributions are a win for both the participating businesses and the schools. The designated school receives 100% of the contribution and the business receives a tax credit against state income taxes for up to as much as 90% of the contribution.

CNB Contributes to Project Wall

Brian Wingard (right), Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CNB Bank, recently presented a check to John Rowles (left), Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785, and Betina Nicklas (center), Commander of American Legion Post 6.
The funds donated by CNB will be used toward Project Wall, a joint effort by the American Legion Post 6, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #974 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785 to help construct a new Veterans Honor Roll wall. This wall will replace the current wall, which has been standing since 1966, but no longer has room to adequately immortalize the young men and women enlisting in the military and serving in future wars.
