CNB Bank Promotes Conaway to Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Joseph B. Bower, Jr., President and CEO of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Mary Ann Conaway to the position of Senior Vice President/Human Resources.
Ms. Conaway joined CNB Bank in 1982 and has held various customer service and support positions. She was promoted to Human Resources Officer in 1992, Assistant Vice President/Human Resources in 1995, and Vice President/Human Resources in 1997. As Senior Vice President/Human Resources, Ms. Conaway oversees human resource management for the organization, which includes staff recruitment, hiring, recognition and retention, employee training, development and performance, compensation plans, employee and manager relations and benefits administration for over 400 employees. She also ensures attainment of customer service goals and objectives.
A native of Karthaus, Mary Ann graduated from West Branch Area High School, and has earned three banking diplomas including Bank Operations, General Banking, and Personal Banking from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association/ Professional Development Network. In 2011, Ms. Conaway graduated from the Human Resource Management School of the Graduate School of Banking presented by the Central States Conference of Banking Associations and University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Ms. Conaway has lent her expertise by serving as a former American Institute of Banking (AIB) instructor, was a certified sales and service trainer and a past member of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association/ Professional Development Network State Educational Advisory Committee.
Mary Ann currently resides in Frenchville with her husband, Randy, and their daughter, Heidi. She is the daughter of Eva Jane Hertlein, also of Frenchville, and is an active volunteer with various charities throughout the community.
