On Saturday, June 27th, numerous area residents registered for the CNB Stools from Schools Summer Scavenger Hunt. In doing so, they were given clues to locate 24 local businesses holding the wooden stools that were designed and painted by Clearfield Area High School art students. The students were instructed to design their stools with a community theme and came back with everything local from Clearfield County Fair themes to sports and hunting themes.

Based on the clues given to them, participants find each business, locate the stool and record the title of the stool on their official scavenger hunt form.

All completed forms must be turned in to CNB no later than 12:00 noon Saturday, August 29, 2009. Each entry with all 24 correctly identified stool titles will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 Series EE savings bond, which will be awarded Monday, August 31, 2009.

Anyone wishing to participate in the scavenger hunt can still sign up. Just stop in any of the 4 Clearfield offices of CNB Bank. Participants must be 18 or older to be eligible and must sign a release. CNB employees and and their immediate families are not eligible.
